Whether this is your first time selling and you have 3 kids worth of clothes you're selling or you're a seasoned pro and you only have the last season's worth of clothes, you'll probably be hanging and preparing plenty of clothes this season. While there are many tips to help you sell your clothes (Price to sell, check for stains, etc.) Presentation counts for BIG points. I'm a visual girl, so I have prepared these pictures for you.

Tell me: Which shirts would you spend your money on? The ones in the Before or After column? Here's the basics:
- While I would never button a shirt ALL the way up when my kids wear it, it looks much nicer on the hanger and keeps the shirt collar strait.
- Make sure the shirt is hanging strait. Line the seams up with the hanger. Use a safety pin to help hold it in place if you need to.
- Use the iron if you need to. Most of the time a quick run in the dryer is good enough for most of my clothes (I specifically will not buy kid's clothes that I have to iron each time I wash it), sometimes a quick touch up with the iron will make it look 100% better and will allow it to sell quicker and for more.
- Make sure all pockets are tucked in (this goes for pants and shirts), manufacturer tags aren't sticking up, embellishments lay flat (may need the iron again), etc.
With just a little extra work, you can really help set yourself up for success!
